Protecting Family. Preserving Culture. Building Stability Where It Matters Most

We exist to change the trajectory of care for Indigenous youth and families, combat systemic care issues, and build a brighter future for us all.
Across North America, Indigenous youth remain disproportionately represented in child welfare and justice systems, often removed from their communities and disconnected from their culture. These systems too often manage behavior instead of understanding it, leading to ongoing cycles of instability.
At Indigenous Youth Services, we are building a different path.

24/7 connection to real support when it matters most. From real-time guidance during moments of escalation to personalized care plans, cultural resources, and direct access to dedicated support staff, CareLink ensures you’re never navigating challenges alone.

A structured pathway designed to safely bring youth back to their families, communities, and cultural foundations. Through individualized support, in-person guidance, and continuous CareLink connection, we work alongside youth and caregivers to build stability, strengthen relationships, and ensure reunification is not just possible, but sustainable.

Bringing meaningful, culturally grounded care directly into the home. Rather than expecting families to navigate systems alone, our team comes to you, providing hands-on support, guidance, and skill development in real-life moments. With continuous CareLink connection, support is always within reach, helping families build stability, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change where it matters most.

Culturally grounded support to youth in both community and detention settings. Through virtual deterrence services and in-detention engagement, we provide mentorship, behavioral guidance, and cultural connection focused on reducing recidivism and creating real pathways forward. Wherever youth are, support meets them there to build accountability, strengthen identity, and support lasting change.

Training Programs that equip staff, caregivers, and organizations with the skills needed to support youth effectively. Our training covers cultural care, behavioral support, trauma understanding, and practical intervention strategies that can be applied in real-world settings. Designed to move beyond theory, these programs build confidence, improve outcomes, and strengthen the environments surrounding youth.

Consulting Services that support both agencies and families in building clear, effective care plans. We work collaboratively to understand each situation, identify what is driving challenges, and develop practical strategies that align supports across all environments. The focus is on clarity, coordination, and real outcomes, ensuring everyone involved is moving in the same direction.

Indigenous Youth Services was awarded the Jordan James Pickell Mental Health Achievement Recognition Award by the Mood Disorders Society of Canada for advancing relationship-centered, individualized approaches that prioritize dignity, understanding, and sustainable change for youth and families navigating complex systems.

Indigenous Youth Services was recognized with the Canadian Choice Award for excellence and leadership in innovation and service delivery within family stabilization and mental health. This honor reflects the organization’s impact in advancing how complex behavior is understood and supported across communities, agencies, and care environments through effective training programs and youth-focused initiatives.

Indigenous Youth Services was honored with the Global Recognition Award, acknowledging the international relevance of its contributions to behavioral approaches, trauma-informed care, and system reform in mental health services. This recognition reflects the organization’s measurable impact beyond regional boundaries and its role in advancing effective, youth-focused support and training across diverse care environments.
